Hi, I’m Claudia — Sheila to my American friends. I’m an artist and surface designer creating expressive patterns, paintings, and products that blend ornament, atmosphere, nuance, and eclectic storytelling across wallpaper, textiles, interiors, stationery, and apparel.

— ON PROCESS

In a former life, I formulated botanical oils into nurturing skincare products, a practice centered on texture, beauty, and transformation that naturally evolved into oil painting and a broader exploration of artistic mediums. My creative practice is a continuous process of mark making, study, and visual experimentation — largely self-taught, though I occasionally step into classes led by artists and educators whose work and approach I deeply admire, such as the New York Academy of Art and Bonnie Christine.

— ON INSPIRATION

I’m inspired by the beauty that emerges when elegance, boldness, humor, and individuality coexist.

Inspiration tends to arrive through the people, places, objects, and atmospheres that make themselves known and ask to be seen; the process is often revelatory, a constant beckoning thread.

— ON INTERIORS & SURFACES

I’m often illustrating in some form: drawing, painting, developing surface patterns, or building collections inspired by atmosphere and movement. I love welcoming walls, billowy fabric, expressive interiors, and pieces that are full of texture and character.

— ON COLLABORATION

Through collections, collaborations, and bespoke projects, I invite others into a creative world shaped by curiosity, rebellion, and a love of expression.

I hope you enjoy the work.
